WALT:
Multiply by tens

  1. 2x3=6 20x3=60
  2. 5x2=10 50x2=100
  3. 4x3=12 40x3=120
  4. 5x3=15 50x3=150
  5. 6x3=18 60x3=180
  6. 2x7=14 20x7=140
  7. 4x15=60 40x15=600
  8. 4x13=52 40x13=520
  9. 4x9=36 40x9=360
  10. 7x4=28 70x4=280

For maths we have been learning to multiply numbers. I have have been working on my 10x tables. This is some of my work. I am trying my best to complete it. First I have done the small number and then I have to do the bigger number so I will explain what I have done. So I know that 2x3=6. Then you just put the 0 onto the 2 to make it 20 and then you have to put the 0 onto the 6 to make it 60. So this is what you do when you multiply by 10.

  1. Good job Keyana. I have learnt something next time I will use that strategy when I am stuck on an equation.
